Randal Simmons serves as the Controller for Allegiance Refining responsible for all companywide financial reporting, auditing, and controls.

 

Mr. Simmons has worked within the refining industry for more than 22 years in areas related to product costing, inventory management, internal controls, budgeting, analysis, and performance management. He spent the majority of his career with Shell Oil Company, first serving as a Closing Coordinator from 2003 to 2007 and progressively earning positions with more responsibilities, including Managerial Reporting and Inventory Specialist from 2007 to 2011, Senior Finance Inventory Specialist from 2011 to 2015, and Hydrocarbon Process Expert Team Lead from 2015 to 2019. Mr. Simmons also served as the controller of The San Antonio Refinery for a predecessor operating company from 2019 to 2021.

 

He received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting with a Finance concentration from Angelo State University.
